If 1 kilometer is approximately 0.6 mile,

If 1 kilometer is approximately 0.6 mile, which of the following best approximates the number of kilometers in 2 miles?

2 Explanations

1

Km --------------> miles

Rule of Three:

1 km ------------> 0,6 miles
X km------------> 2 miles

Since 2 is slightly greater than 0,6 * 3 (1,8)
X has to be slightly greater than 1 * 3 (3)

Option (A) (10/3 = 3.33...) matches with our prediction.
