I want to know, how would you infer that to restrict the use of the word "natural" is needed all three together or only one is sufficient (why or, and not and)?, Is it just common sense, or is there any grammatical clue that makes us conclude is or...
Hi Juan!
We can use common sense, and it's much more likely that just one artificial ingredient is needed instead of all three. More importantly, though, the original prompt used "or," not "and." We always want to keep the meaning of the original prompt, unless the meaning is illogical. And since "or" is logical here, we want to keep it. That's a good rule to know for the GMAT! Always keep the original meaning.
Hope that helps!
