What is the ratio of the average (arithmetic mean) height of students in class X to the average height of students in class Y?

Statement 1: Avg height of X = 120. No info on Y, so INSUFFICIENT

Statement 2: Avg height of X and Y combined = 126. This is not sufficient to find the ratio because we aren't provided any info regarding the averages of the individual classes or the number of students in each class, so this is INSUFFICIENT.

Combined: We still don't have any information on the size of either class, which is needed in order to determine the approximate proportion between the two classes, so it is impossible to determine the ratio. ANSWER = E.
