I ruled out option A, B &C because of few/less. Isn't it fewer correct in this case.?

Hi Mahesh,

Here, what is being compared is "rice production," which is uncountable. We're not comparing "41 million tons." We're comparing "rice production" and "harvest." These are not countable.
