Hi
The prompt says- his studies...led Louis to propose the concept of an age in which great ice sheets had existed.
Shouldn't we use past perfect here because we already have 'led Louis' which is past?

Hi Jasleen,

It's clear that the ice sheets existed before Louis, so we don't absolutely need past perfect to clarify this.

If you're stuck between (A) and (B), (A) is clearly wrong because "now currently" is redundant.
