How did our product help you? Your product was fantastic because it allowed me to see the broad range of types of questions asked on the GMAT, and it showed me answers to questions I didn't answer correctly. In addition, it took the answers a step further and explained the steps needed to arrive at the correct answer. The written explanations and videos were also extremely helpful.

How did our product help you? I think it helped most in my pacing strategy, and the explanations and videos helped a lot. The best part, however, is that you can set the preferences for the practices to be adaptive, which helps you get in the GMAT zone.

How did our product help you? Magoosh allowed me to practice all their questions in the timed & test simulated conditions. Doing practice tests for verbal helped me build the stamina needed for the 4-Hour long test. I went through the explanations after each sectional test and found the explanations quiet brilliant and precise.

How did our product help you? I used Magoosh for my GRE prep as well, so I knew exactly how I wanted to use the product. I watched every lecture, and then just used the question bank to focus on my weakest areas.

How did our product help you? Magoosh definitely helped me gain the much needed improvement in the verbal section. My score had suffered in the first attempt because of low verbal scores, especially due to my inability to comprehend RC and CR problems. Magoosh helped me overcome this problem by demonstrating the correct method of approaching the verbal questions. The lessons were clear, brief and simple to comprehend.

How did our product help you? While reviewing for the GMAT, I had attempted to use study books and question banks but was having difficulty. After writing and performing poorly on the GMAT I discovered Magoosh by searching for a GMAT study aid that allowed the user to see the difficulty of the questions they were working on. This helped immensely in allowing me to understand where my issues were and how to best tackle them. The video lessons were all very informative and covered everything you would need to know for the entire GMAT. I would highly recommend Magoosh to anyone who enjoys working at their own pace and wants all the information you could require to succeed.

How did our product help you? I only had 2.5 weeks to study for the second round of the gmat, in part because I was finishing my application and in part because the pain of restarting studying was daunting, I found Magoosh when I had 1.5 weeks to test day and started using the free tutorial, very quickly I felt great anxiety of at the prospect of not having the software up until test day and not having all the modules. Hence my signing up. Though I am an engineer by training, I've always struggled in math. My first quant score was a 29 and I'd been studying using Manhattan quiz answers and gmatclub forum posts but still terrified about that section. I found a great link in the forum to a timing strategy that shot my manhattan practice test score up by 100 points (at least), only found out a week later it was a Magoosh video... that helped me tons. I found the videos addictive, I could watch them for hours. I was even sad thinking I wouldn't get thru all of them before the test. (post-test, I have no desire to study in any way ;-) I found the instructor's voice very soothing and would often hear it in my head while I was taking practice tests. During the test itself there were a couple points where I saw the equations move around like they did in the videos, re-arrange themselves into something different and more easily solvable. Many of the tricks from the video's I was able to use in the test. I did very poorly historically in the reading comprehension so I went thru that module almost fully. The biggest bit for me was, "feigning enthusiasm." That helped me greatly, especially as with 10 minutes left I "got to" read about tariff law in the 1930's. My adhd, did I mention that yet, makes it extremely hard for me to look at type and websites that are cluttered or have old font types, my brain gets confused and I disengage. Plus, my 4+ years working at Apple have given me a repulsion to bad design thus, the crisp and clean interface with no extraneous details, readable fonts (unlike Manhattan) was key to my success. Simple, organized, very effective. I also am an auditory learner, with a verbal memory in the upper 1st percentile, so reading a book on this stuff is ok but listening and seeing was huge for me. I could hear the narrator's voice in my head quite a lot while doing practice tests. When I took the test the first time and got a 530, there were questions that came up in the math that literally looked greek to me. I had no clue what they were even about or even what topic they were. I didn't have that problem at all. Every question seemed to have a familiarity born of your software. I probably have tons more I could say here but, I'll stop for now. If you have any questions to follow-up or want me to look at any new designs, I'd be more than happy to. As I mentioned to Margarette, I am a teacher by hobby and teaching style and effectiveness is a passion. And, you guys helped me on the road to achieving a great dream. Hopefully in the fall I'll be leaving Palo Alto (yes, we are neighbors) and heading to Utah for a Brigham Young University MBA. In large part, thanks to all your hard work. How did our product help you? The GMAT is all about tips and tricks: without Magoosh, I would never have felt as comfortable with the format of the test and the themes of the questions. The GMAT is unlike any test I have taken before. I just graduated college, so although I will be taking it again with more math training, Magoosh helped give me a lot of confidence because of the strategies the lessons taught me. Magoosh helped me focus on what was important so I spent more time on the right areas.

How did our product help you? I can't thank Magoosh enough for my 710! I used a combination of tools but I credit Magoosh with much of my progress because of the detailed, easy-to-follow explanations. There are a lot of services that offer practice questions but Magoosh helped me clearly understand what I was doing wrong and taught me strategies for how to work faster and smarter. Also, the ability to customize practice sessions by category and difficulty was incredibly helpful when I needed to zero in on problem areas.

How did our product help you? I used the Magoosh videos and practice questions as my primary method of study. I found it very effective at summarizing key concepts and materials tested on the GMAT. The lessons were concise yet provided enough detail to understand the topic. I only had 2.5 weeks to prepare and having been out of University for 7 years I was very rusty on the math concepts and theory. I fit my GMAT preparation in during lunch hours, evenings and weekends while balancing work. I credit Magoosh for increasing my score by 110 points.

How did our product help you? In many ways, it provides structered contents of all subjects measured in the GMAT. And the video format of delivering them was really useful for me.

How did our product help you? Helped greatly in refamiliarizing myself with the math section. I did not get to use the product fully before my test date, but I'm certain my score would have been a lot higher. Videos are a great way to learn (better than what the competition offers).

How did our product help you? The math videos were outstanding. They offer a solid review of the basic concepts tested in the GMAT. I reviewed my notes several times a few days before the test. The interface looks cool and highly conductive for study. The problems offers excellent practice as well. Much of my prep time is devoted to the Medium and Hard Problems. If I had more time, I could have tackled the 'Very hard' problems. The verbal also offers good practice especially for RC. Although I focused on Quant on much of my prep time, practicing on some RC Passages and doing a lot of CR questions a few days before the test did gave me a good warm up before I appeared for the actual test. Cheers to the highly dependable Support Team as well. Over-all, this product helped me a lot in my preparation for the GMAT. My score is perfectly fine for my pre-experience masters. I will definitely revisit this product once I decide to pursue an MBA in the future and decide to take the GMAT once more.
