I found the format of your quant practice to be very engaging. The ability to answer a question and then immediately receive conversational instruction on the skills/methods required was great. This format was much more effective for me than working problems in books, where I was constantly slowed by flipping pages between solutions and answer explanations. Furthermore, watching someone write out steps in real time is much easier to follow than deciphering written solutions. |

1. The lesson videos, especially the Verbal videos, were clear, concise and well structured. 2. The 'Hard' and 'Very Hard' questions were a blessing in disguise. They were challenging but they made the actual GMAT questions seem easier. 3. I found the study plan to be very useful. It kept me on track in spite of my busy work schedule. 4. The flashcard apps were great and I was able to 'study-on-the-go'. I used the apps frequently in the gym. 5. The blog was a great place for 'extra material', which complemented the study material and questions. Mike McGarry, you're a legend. |

Magoosh provided me with a structured GMAT study plan. I took the GMAT twice before signing up for Magoosh. I didn't really take the test seriously the first time and was poorly prepared. For my second try I hired a tutor and used the Official Guide books. I scored a disappointing 650. I decided that I needed to evaluate how I was studying and try something new. Magoosh was a great fit for me since I am a visual learner. I followed the Advanced Study Plan (although it took me five months, not three). The thorough explanations after each question were awesome. I also liked that I could enter notes directly under questions or lessons. This was really helpful for review later on. The actual test was a lot easier than all of the practice questions and tests that I had done. I didn't think a score this high was possible. BIG thanks to Mike and all of the team members who responded to all of the questions I had. |
