I only used it for the math and IR parts so can't comment on the English. The lessons really helped with learning the relevant concepts and strengthen my math skills. The quiz mode questions were very helpful in simulating the actual exam. |

Mike's plans were great! I started with the 3 month math heavy and then switched to advanced half way through. Hard and very hard questions were much more difficult than questions I saw on the test so I had a lot of confidence in the actual exam. Loved the videos as well and being able to watch them at 1.5x speed was a huge time-saver. Thanks Magoosh!! |

The videos with explanations for every single question were incredibly helpful. The instructors were all fantastic and, although I didn't need to, I felt that I could easily reach out to Magoosh if I encountered any issues. Magoosh helped me by giving me an interactive study process. Watching the tutorials helped remind me of little tricks, especially for math. The vast amount of practice questions allowed me to practice those tricks. The answer explanations were the most helpful of all. By supplying the explanation as to why verbal answers were wrong I was able to understand the mistakes I was making and correct them. The math explanations helped me understand I was making stupid mistakes and assumptions. This helped me slow down and pay attention to the whole questions. I honestly tried to study with books before moving to Magoosh and felt flustered and stagnant. I genuinely believe Magoosh helped me get the 700+ score I desired. |

The key to preforming well on the GMAT is having enough material to practice. Magoosh really provided me an extra advantage in filling in some of the more obscure gaps of knowledge. These lesser-known tips and tricks helped me get some of the more difficult questions correct on the GMAT. I believe that it was getting those questions correct that made a big difference in my score compared to the average test-taker. In addition, I completed all of the practice questions because each one of them had a detailed video explanation. It was similar to getting over 1000 individual lessons, which really helped in solidifying my understanding of a concept from multiple angles. |
