Magoosh really provided me an extra advantage in filling in some of the more obscure gaps of knowledge. These lesser-known tips and tricks helped me get some of the more difficult questions correct on the GMAT. I believe that it was getting those questions correct that made a big difference in my score compared to the average test-taker. In addition, I completed all of the practice questions because each one of them had a detailed video explanation. It was similar to getting over 1000 individual lessons, which really helped in solidifying my understanding of a concept from multiple angles. |

I used the Magoosh study plan as a basis for studying for the GMAT. I chose the math focused study guide since my baseline score for quant was much lower than for verbal. The math lessons and math practice problems were extremely helpful! Magoosh clearly has a deep understanding of the GMAT, and the foundational skills and tips I learned served me well on the actual GMAT. I brought my math score up from a 38 (on GMAT prep software) to a 48 on the actual GMAT. |

I used the 3 month "advanced" study guide published in the blog. It was extremely helpful in keeping my study schedule regular and well rounded. The video lessons were perfect for me as I was trying to learn the strategy behind each question type (especially DS). The solutions for practice questions were thorough and easy to follow. Magoosh was the main tool that I used to improve my score over 130 points from the first GMATPrep practice test I took four months ago (630, 41M, 35V). Definitely will recommend to friends! |

I really liked that Magoosh had a lot of practice problems with detailed explanations. It was really helpful for me to see where I went wrong and then apply what I learned to another similar problem. I was strong in verbal and weak in quant when I started to study. Using your quant lessons and questions (I think I did around 500 quant questions and 200 verbal questions) I was able to teach myself GMAT math, and improve in the highest-difficulty verbal questions. Magoosh was basically my only resource until about two weeks before the exam, when I started using the GMATPrep software. I have recommended Magoosh to all of my friends who are planning on taking the GMAT. |

It was extremely helpful for relearning all the basic math concepts I'd forgotten since high school (and really helped me get over a bit of math anxiety!). I was already fairly strong on the verbal starting out, but Magoosh helped me refine my approach and ended up improving my score from 44 on the GMAC practice exams to a 47 on the actual test. |

I'd say it was the single biggest factor in my success. The product itself coupled with your study plans that exposed me to NOVA Math and gave my studying structure are definitely a huge reason for my score. The video lessons are extremely helpful, very grateful for Mike and Chris 's explanation across a diverse range of subjects. The lessons are broken down to easy to manage length, yet cover all the important points as well as provide excellent examples. They really helped me to understand he fundamentals of English grammar. Similarly, their explanation after each question really made it that much easier to understand (Unlike the textual only explanation in OG and other test prep materials) Speaking of which, the practice questions also helped me tremendously. The difficulties are just right (Slightly harder than actual/official test, but that is the way it should be) and the questions are well designed. The UI also made it quite accessible and friendly to use. Overall I thoroughly enjoyed practicing all these questions on Magoosh (all 17 hrs of it) |
