Better representation of test like practice problems (for quant) than Manhattan. Video lessons were simple and to the point and good at highlighting good strategies. I did practice problems for both quant and verbal, but only used the math video lessons because I already had very high verbal scores. |

My first practice exam I got a 610. I used Magoosh to learn my trouble areas and refresh my quant skills; I've been out of engineering graduate school for the last three and a half years. My approach was a combination of the Magoosh material and MGMAT's 6 practice GMATs. I began structured studying at the beginning of May. I studied close to 10 hours during the work week and a MGMAT practice exam (plus corrections!) on Saturdays. Beginning in July, I tapered to maybe 4 or 5 hours during the work week and focused more intensely on practice exams. |

Magoosh was able to break down complicated concepts into something simple. The tricks they taught (dividing by 5s, multiplying digits that end in 5, etc) were all easy to understand and cut solving time significantly. When I need clarifications on answers on the practice samples, they answered promptly and were able to clarify things for me in a way that 'clicked' with me. |

- Although I am a native English speaker living in the US, I was struggling with the mechanics of sentence correction. I took a prep class but felt that I was lacking some foundations of grammar. Magoosh's SC videos were absolutely wonderful. I would highly recommend them for anyone struggling with SC. I did dabble in CR and RC but was already quite comfortable in those areas. - I also found the Combinatorics and Probability videos were helpful in focusing on the principles rather than memorizing formulas - In general, I really appreciated both video and text analyses of practice questions - Android flash cards were awesome |

The explanations for questions was very helpful. It really helped instill concepts within my brain as opposed to focusing on memorizing anything. The lessons were also great as refreshers for difficult topics I encountered through difficult problems |

I learned a few new tips and tricks from the Math videos, however Magoosh's true value add to my education was the sheer amount of practice it offered. I found the Magoosh videos on basics extremely helpful for refreshing my mind on math topics. Sometimes a video is easier to swallow than shifting through another prep book. Video explanations of questions were similarly helpful and seem fairly unique to Magoosh. |

I didn't go straight through and do the while program but when I ran into a problem type I was unformfrotable with in one of the GMAT company books, I'd use magoosh to figure it out. It was very very effective for that. |

Very concise videos, and the question bank is very useful in nailing down concepts. I will be taking the GMAT again because with a Q49/V37 I feel like I can easily make some improvements in my verbal score. I will continue to use the quant side to stay polished and look into Magoosh Verbal to master that side of the test. |
