The videos were extremely helpful for refreshing concepts in math that I hadn't seen since highschool. They were in depth and covered everything I saw on my GMAT and more. I especially liked the quizzes at the end of each module, as well as the videos included with every question solution. I did find the math questions Magoosh offered to be significantly harder than what I saw on the final test, so my math score was higher than what Magoosh predicted for me. |

A long ways out from school, I needed to review math BIG TIME! Mike's lessons were extremely helpful. Everything I needed to know, and nothing I didn't. I found the problem solution videos to be very helpful as well. As a visual learner, it helped to watch Mike work through the problems, as opposed to read through text that could be confusing. |

I think Magoosh provides great resources; in fact, I plan to continue using the Math + IR package I've purchased, despite being done with the GMAT. That said, completing the material in just over a week was not helpful and probably proved to be a hindrance in my quantitative performance. I found myself bogged down in the storm of details running through my head and often struggled to find a starting point as a result. While I had only taken the two free practice tests provided by the mba.com software, in comparison, my percentile fell. I believe, had I started with Magoosh when I began studying a month ago, my quant score would have been much stronger. Given two or more months, I suspect I'd be much greater than proficient. |

Many textbooks and prep courses focus specifically on the general skills required to consistently answer medium level questions correctly. The stark difference between most study guides and Magoosh is that Magoosh covers all the basics but also the in depth concepts required to succeed beyond the mid 600's.
