Videos helped fill in a lot of conceptual gaps in maths and taught me how to approach the verbal section strategically. Whereas before, in sentence correction, I had judged sentences by how they sounded, Magoosh taught me how to approach them analytically. |

Challenging questions which give an accurate idea of the concepts tested in the actual GMAT, and each with thorough explanations through video tutorials and written explanations. Timed practice tests were really helpful in giving me practice in time management as well, and to boost my confidence for the GMAT exam. Did 3 practice tests in the 5 days before the actual GMAT, scoring from 570 (on first day) to 650 and then to 670. Actual GMAT score was 740. Found this a lot more helpful than the actual GMAC materials. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED. |

Before starting Magoosh I had no experience with the GMAT whatsoever. I followed the 4-week program very closely, though I did spread it out over 5 weeks, plus one final week of practice and review before the test. It helped me build my test-taking skills and strategize to perform at my best. The video tutorials for the Quant section were extremely useful in helping me brush up on concepts I hadn't thought about since high school. |

I really liked the study plan. There was only 7 weeks between my first test and my second, and I just started using Magoosh about 4 weeks before my second test, but somehow I managed to stay focused and improve my scores by over 100 points. The videos were helpful in suggesting strategy, and I noticed the other place I struggled with was getting used to the computerized exam. The Magoosh practice sets really helped with this. |

The online module helped with practice in the sense that it was very easy compared to getting a book out and flipping to the right pages and matching up explanations like in Manhattan. Given it was so easy I did a lot more practice problems which helped my score a lot. The video explanations (math more so) were very helpful. Also, the ability to set up custom practice and review work. All great stuff. |
