Magoosh helped me take a prep course while managing a busy work schedule. The videos covered the subject matter well and also provided great tips and tricks. Above all else though, the best learning tool for me was the video and text explanation for every single practice question. The OG books and GMATPrep software lacked the depth of explanation that Magoosh provided during each step of the way. |

"Help" feature in Magoosh was very useful. I strongly feel that just going over any course material would not be sufficient to score a very high percentile. The understanding I developed while practicing was the key deferential and Magoosh played an important role through the Student Help. A special thanks to Jeff Derrenberger who gave a very detailed explanation when I had trouble identifying some irregular verbs as Past participle modifiers. One of the really great things about asking instructors after putting in due effort and trying to come up with alternate explanations was that the learning I gained from the whole experience ( including my innitital futile attempts to understand it) would stick with me. Once again a big thank you for all the Magoosh Student Help experts. I also like the huge collections of problems Magoosh has and each with its own video explanation. I learnt a lot through practice and Magoosh provided ample amount of questions and video explanations to practice from PS: I am fine with you guys using the above points in your marketing material, but please do edit it. Even though, I scored a 42 in verbal , I am not great at writing. I became good at picking out choices through a combination of logic and rudimentary Grammar rules. |

Having a 3-month outline to follow in conjunction with all required materials was excellent for someone who didn't want to spend thousands on prep. Only ingredient needed was diligence, and the program definitely delivered. Even with the 720 on first take, I'm thinking I'll probably go deeper, finish the lessons & problems, and try to get my Quant up before applications. Excellent program and even better value. |
