I went from a practice test score of 610 to a real test score of 740 in about 3 months of steady studying. I totally credit Magoosh with this improvement. Their questions were spot on representations of the real test material. For the quant section, the exposure to the types of PS questions plus the logical framework of the DS approach was a great way to let my natural quant altitudes shine. For the verbal section, the pacing methods and answer choice elimination method were great. I like the explanations of the various argument questions, it really helped me organize my thoughts. |

Magoosh just taught me everything. Literally. I am a grown up already, and I haven’t had anything to do with maths for many years. It was my biggest concern. I had to start from the basics. The video lessons were incredibly helpful! All in all I studied for my GMAT for 4 months, and I scored 570. The minimum required score for my course was 550. It may not seem as a lot, but I wasn’t aiming for the Ivy League and one needs to realize that I started at the very bottom. So Magoosh did a great job teaching me! I would definitely recommend it to anybody who’s willing to prepare in a friendly yet efficient manner. |

The structure of the videos are awesome. The quant videos hit all the important info and helped shape a GMAT-style of thinking. Some test prep programs just teach you curriculum/concepts that are out of context of the exam. Every quant video was fairly short, concise, and related specifically to the GMAT. For verbal, the answer videos for all the practice questions were super helpful. This was especially true for CR. It’s extremely helpful to watch someone go through the logic for CR problems. |

The video lessons are very helpful, especially if you’re starting from scratch. The practice questions are top-notch, and the video explanations are the key to understanding the most efficient ways to approach questions. I actually found that the “very hard” questions were harder than what you’ll see on the GMAT itself, so, if anything, you’ll be over-prepared in some respects. |
