How did Magoosh help you?
The video lessons are extremely helpful, very grateful for Mike and Chris 's explanation across a diverse range of subjects. The lessons are broken down to easy to manage length, yet cover all the important points as well as provide excellent examples. They really helped me to understand he fundamentals of English grammar. Similarly, their explanation after each question really made it that much easier to understand (Unlike the textual only explanation in OG and other test prep materials) Speaking of which, the practice questions also helped me tremendously. The difficulties are just right (Slightly harder than actual/official test, but that is the way it should be) and the questions are well designed. The UI also made it quite accessible and friendly to use. Overall I thoroughly enjoyed practicing all these questions on Magoosh (all 17 hrs of it) |

The video lessons were great for getting me started when I couldn't focus on just reading books. The best part of Magoosh is probably the video explanations for practice questions. It's SO much better to watch those than to read explanations in general, but Magoosh's written explanations are also pretty good (the ones in the OG are awful). |

Each question in Magoosh has an explanation video, and watching these videos (esp. in the Quant section) was useful as it taught me how to think through the various questions. I also benefited from viewing the various Quant videos for topics such as counting, probability, GCF and LCM, coordinate geometry and algebra. I was also helped by the quick and rapid responses - with clear explanations - that I received from the instructors. |

How did Magoosh help you?
Magoosh was great because the software broke down the math lessons by section. My focus for the retake was math because I didn't score as well as I would have liked to. The sections were helpful and even some of the basic lessons proved to be helpful review. The video explanations of the practice problems were also very helpful in order to analyze the thought process. I also greatly benefited from the study plan. Due to personal constraints, I used the one month plan, which was aggressive, but I felt that it prepared me for the improvement that I needed. My target score was 700 and that was exactly what I got. I think my success was largely driven by an ambitious focus as I essentially isolated myself for 6 weeks or so in preparation. This was necessary based on the timelines and the fact that I work full time. |

I worked with the one month study schedule. I was already quite good at verbal, but I needed extra help on the maths section. The video lessons were extremely helpful when I was learning all the concepts. But the best thing was the video explanation that goes with each practice question, unparalleled to any other program I worked with.
